2AA Rosette dining in our elegant, candlelit restaurant
Dinner is served Monday to Saturday from 7.00pm with last orders around 8.30pm. Choose from our daily changing, three course, seasonal, 2AA Rosette menu, skilfully created and freshly cooked to order by our talented Chef, and served in the elegant surroundings of our Georgian-panelled, candlelit Dining Room. At Easter, and on Bank Holiday weekends, the Dining Room is open on Sunday evenings but is closed Bank Holiday Monday.
Our fresh produce is sourced from local suppliers and in summertime, some vegetables, salad leaves and herbs come from our own garden. Chef bakes fresh bread daily. He can prepare tempting vegetarian dishes and will offer alternative choices for particular dietary needs – we do appreciate advance notice if you have any such special requirements.
Our wine list has an excellent selection of quality wines featuring mainly smaller wineries whose emphasis is on quality over quantity.
A Room Service menu is also available Monday to Saturday and you are most welcome to enjoy dishes from our dinner menu served in your room.
Each morning you can enjoy a tasty English breakfast with bacon, sausages and ham from Barnard’s of Attleborough, free-range Norfolk eggs, thick yoghurt with our own fruit compôte or toasted muesli and local honey, as well as a choice of cereals, fresh fruits, artisan toast with Norfolk preserves and Fair-trade tea and coffee. On warm summer mornings, you can enjoy breakfast under the gazebo overlooking the swimming pool.
Afternoon tea is available to residents daily; home-baked scones, delicious cake and freshly brewed tea or coffee are served in our Drawing Room by the log fire in winter or in the Conservatory or on the pool terrace in summer.
