Special Offers and Short Breaks

Spring and Summer Short Breaks

The longer days are with us, the weather is warming up and the birds are busy in the garden. Norfolk’s many nature reserves (NWT Thorpe Marshes is right across the road) are gearing up for an influx of spring and summer migrants, historic houses galore are re-opening and there are many attractions to see in Norwich including the Norman Castle and Cathedral, the newly re-branded Museum of Norwich Life (formerly the Bridewell Museum) with its fascinating history of the city of Norwich, as well as the  Forum and Millennium Library. If you are looking for some retail therapy, Norwich has all the major retailers, two shopping malls, Jarrold’s Department Store (twice winner of the UK Independent Department Store of the Year) plus an eclectic mix of independents in the Norwich Lanes. Or perhaps you just fancy a quiet break, relaxing with a good book or lazing on the pool terrace.

Whatever you like to do, The Old Rectory is the perfect place for a short break: accommodation in one of our individually styled guest rooms, a delicious, seasonal 2 AA Rosette dinner each evening in our elegant, candlelit Dining Room and of course a freshly cooked English Breakfast are all included in the price. Available Monday – Saturday inclusive from £175 per room per night for two adults sharing; minimum two night stay with dinner taken on at least two evenings.
